PBCH - Physical Broadcast Channel
• Carries the BCH - System Information
– Only the Master Information Block is carried on the PBCH
– (The System Information Blocks are sent on PDSCH)
• From SCH and BCH the mobile can determine the cell identifiers
• Sent on central 72 subcarriers (6 resource blocks) once a frame (10ms)
• Modulation QPSK for reception over the cell
